Blogging is hard.

I think of what I can blog about everyday. But I only frequently do it. I have more info and pictures than time to sort, Photoshop and write about. So, as I'm too lazy to go through pictures at the end of the day...but disappointed about not blogging at all - I'll do the easy "couple of videos"

They are pretty uneventful. But here is Grey doing some singing. Not the best footage. She does not take to a camera in her face (yet.) So I tried to get her without being noticed. Short but cute (says mom.)

And Silas. Sweet Silas, trapped in his body unable to communicate (yet.) Lately his moves consist of excited arm flaps, and a long inhale noise that I MUST get on video! It's too good. For now, the arm slaps:

Hee hee...I forgot that Grey is all cuddly in this. She is trying to be close with him (hold his hand, ear...you know. Whatever.) Must have been near nap time.

She is really sweet with him. Then the rest of the time too rough with him, of course. I try to tell her that soon she won't be able to knock him over. And he'll run just as fast as her. And he'll want toys for himself and watching her take everything won't be so entertaining. But she'll learn this the hard way...
But then, just like now - most of the time, they'll be buddies.

(notice Grey's "extra" pants in this last picture? She put them on herself! Ha!)

 One last video....

Easter Traditions (begin) at the Jude Kahle's Casa

All just spare you most details and let the pictures do the talking. That's most fun anyway...

Pre-eggs, just playing with colors. Making pretty circles of color on a paper towel. Till the tutorial from Dad. Learning how it's done:

To no one's surprise... Grey has a taste of the vinegar.

Dad says, "Oh Grey, you're silly." And Silas is scared.

(Seriously, Si's face is so funny!! Hee hee...)
Now Grey shows us her eggs, first with a blank face (why are you making me do this?) Secondly with glee and pride.

Silas thinks,"What's the big deal?!"

We finish up. Recoloring the eggs, the tissue towels, and all our fingers.

Back to Silas.
We have smooches.

Giggles.

And stares...

"Okay" Silas says. "Easter is fun!!"

Sweet babies O'mine...

The days are getting easier but in return the children are growing older...bittersweet! Silas adores Grey. Grey thinks he is funny, and she watches out for him. They are becoming friends too! I couldn't be happier...

Playing on the kitchen floor. Mixin' it up.

Someone likes to pinch her brother's nose...

And someone else likes his nose pinched.
Little crazies.

(and I like to take pictures of it all, and once in a while stand in as referee.)

Everyday stuff

I don't have a point to this post.
Just pinning a reminder of little things/happenings that have happened in the last month...

...like fun times singing with "Dada"
Hee hee, look at lil' Si guy, hanging on like a monkey. Love!
Playing in brother's crib.
 Tasting brother's food...
(She's protective, I guess.)

Wearing Silas in "the pack"
Silas in awe, studying his pops (it's so cute! He does this every night right now!)

Woodsy Owl? So she's been called...

Here we are hanging at the pediatricians office. Silas is about to get his 6 months shots. I was kinda bummed Grey had to be there too. She's next. I was hoping she wouldn't remember what was in store for her. Oh well. She gets ice cream after. That should help!
Hanging upside down! (Again, dad, so fun!)

 Cuddles, from the master
Borrowing clothes from our cousin, James. (Loving the shirt!)
New pants (first jeans, size 12-18 mo. Crazy big boy.)
New food.

My mother dislikes it when I post these types of pictures, but I can't help it. I love them...
Bed head and sleepy face.

Dancing in Dada's socks

And lastly, wrinkle bums.
(I did it again mom!) In her defense, she doesn't want them to be embarrassed by any pictures later. Very considerate. But. I think a person would be proud of these handsome features. I am! And I'm mom...a person who is bound to embarrass my children one way or another someday.
I'll try not to though. My promise to you S & G!
XO

Pike Place Market

I love Saturdays at the Market. Even though it's always the same, it's always such a relaxing and fun day. People watching and sampling tons of food. Pike's is full of yummy eats! But Jude is especially fun to go with. He gets good parking spaces, and he usually has a craving. At least one fun thing in mind.
Today was: spicy chicken kabobs.
SO GOOD!!

We took a few pictures, Jude says we look like foreigners.
I don't mind.

Everywhere there's lots of piggies...Dada got in on the oink action. We do love Mr. Pig.

Silas?! You're not really bored are you?! He got the best seat. I love carrying him in his pack. Man, I would have loved to have had this for Grey. Best $10 I've spent all year, at least. Maybe ever. I love it! Si took in all the sights, and "hello's" from strangers, and then promptly fell asleep after it all. We were even walking outside (very windy) and still, he slept.
I love my squish box.
I don't know why I call him that, but it just comes out.
Sorry buddy.

You're on your way to slumberous
sleep, my son. (still in jammies, never
changed him.)
Again, sorry!

His tube hat also makes me laugh.
It fits me! Ha ha. I think it does. Well,
it fits big sister.  It's hard to find a
normal, non-animal hat these days.
That's the best I could find.

We filled up on local honey sticks,
freshly handmade cheese curds from
Beechers, Buttery grilled sandwiches,
and munched on ripe fruit. Delish.
Grey loved the cheese...we didn't even
have to hit up the doughnut holes! ...Although we walked by and embraced the aroma of fresh baked goodness.
Next time.

Before we went home, we went to look in the original Starbucks for a tumbler for Jude. I'm...picking out a thermos for yoooooou!
They weren't worthy of him.

We browsed around a few places. Bought a small toy truck for Si. Made of sugar maple wood and finished with a non-toxic food grade oil. Jude picked it out, and it reminds me of his old truck he had when we were dating. Yay for cuteness, and for safe toys!
Silas has already had an approval play sesh with it. Satisfaction!

Lastly, and although it was cold, we briefly stopped betwixt city and sea at a small park. (Thanks Jude, I know you didn't want to...you did it for me!) It was so nice out today. Nice means it wasn't raining. ;)

This next one, is for Bobby Kahle. Jude loves when we see the Mountain ranges. He knows his Pops would too. This is the Olympic Mountain Range across the Puget Sound.

Fed, and tired. Make that two... knackered.
