It's the most wonderful time of the year!!

I should be sleeping I am sooo tired! That's what I always say and I never blog. But today I will try and brake the mold and this lame rut once again... Plus, today we got our first Christmas tree so I must write about the excitement!

First, it's so cold out!! Makes for a Christmasy feel, but a very red nose for any sort of picture. Oh well, we're going with it. Also, we hit up the "discount trees" but we knew we'd find a gem in there!

Grey just loved running around. And...as always when we go outside, picking up leaves. The uglier more stepped on, the more she loves it. She has a eye for seeing the beauty in strange things.

Silas was hungry. So he was not really in the festive mood...

Grey ran and ran. Between every isle. There was no one there but us, so that was nice. I chased her and I had to laugh just wondering what was going through her head.

Oh yay! A picture in which she stays still long enough for me to catch her facing the camera and actually saying, "cheese!!" It is the only way.  (Oh, and dead leaf in hand. Course.)

Time to go. But we are stealing this branch!! Yesssss! We got a deal after all...

Smiles all around. There is a tree on top of our car!

Good-bye discount tree lot. Maybe, just maybe we'll see ya next year.

As for Mr. Augusten, he is much happier at home, fed, but still wearing his tube hat. 

Sorry to whomever made it for Grey, but it only fits Silas. It kept his head fuzzy, and happy(ier).
